I know it looks like I obsess over email, but I really do not. Once I am settled into an email App, I “set it and forget”, at least for a while. The case in point is my switch to the macOS Mail App. It is a good program, but there were things about it that were bothering me.

The worst thing was no “Snooze” feature. That just drives me crazy. I do not snooze many emails, but when I want to snooze one, I want it to work. The macOS Mail App does not have a real snooze feature.

The other thing that was bothering me in the Mail App was it would only work with the system color scheme. If you are in Dark Mode, it is dark. If you are in Light mode, it is light. I wanted more functionality here, the ability to manually set light or dark within the application.

So, I went testing email Apps again. There are several email Apps available in the Mac landscape. I finally settled on Spark. The Spark email App has won awards in the past, it is a good application. It is easy to use. There are versions for macOS and iOS as well. I set it up the way I prefer and added my email accounts. At this point, all is well.

I do not plan making any email changes in the near future. I have settled into Spark and enjoy it. If you are looking for a macOS email program, I cannot recommend Spark enough.
