I have used mechanical keyboards for many years. I prefer them over the chiclet keyboards that Apple sells and that you find on most laptops. I guess that is because I learned to type on a real typewriter. You have to use some muscle to move those typewriter keys.
I have several mechanical keyboards. I like them all, but they all have their strong and weak points. When I bought the Logitech MX Mechanical keyboard, I thought the hunt was over. I have used this keyboard for about two months now. It is a good keyboard, but it has its problems. For whatever reason, the function keys along the top row of the keyboard stop working occasionally. This is a known issue that Logitech seems to ignore. It started driving me crazy, so I went back to using my Keychron Pro V6 Wired keyboard. I prefer Bluetooth connectivity, fewer wires. But, if your Bluetooth keyboard does not work properly, then wired works just fine.
The downside to the Keychron is that there is no backlit for the key letters. There is a backlit for the entire keyboard because people use it for gaming. But, the keys are not lit. That is not a total dealbreaker, but disappointing. The top row F-Keys all work great, so that is a plus.
For now, I will just stick with the Keychron. It is a good quality keyboard that has most of the features that I want. The MX Mechanical will be retired. I am sorry I spent the money on it.
