Password Manager
If you have used the Internet for a while, you have a bunch of passwords for various websites and services. Keeping track of these passwords is a total pain. It seems almost impossible at times. Enter the Password Manager App for keeping track of your passwords, credit cards, and other personal information.
Password Manager Apps have been around for a long time on macOS, Windows and Linux. There are several different Password Manager Apps available. They pretty much do the same things, but each one has its own strengths. I have used several of them over the years because I have many website logins. I could not make it without a Password Manager.
Most Password Managers are paid for software, but there are a couple of free ones. It is worth every one of your dollars to get a Password Manager. Entering your passwords is done over a period of time as you visit the websites, but it is worth the effort longterm.
My wife and I use the same Password Manager on our Macs and iOS devices so we both have access to all our passwords. You can set it up any way that works for you. One thing to consider is security. Most Password Managers offer different levels of security in the handling of your passwords. You need to check that out and setup your App of choice accordingly. Some Password Managers on macOS are:
