In all of my concerns about a blogging App, I forgot about iA Writer. iA Writer is awkward because you have to interact with your WordPress blog directly. But, it is fun to write with.
iA Writer offers a range of writing aids. Focused writing is a useful feature. The program reviews style by highlighting clichés, redundancies, and fillers, allowing you to adjust them during composition. It also supports grammar and spelling.
iA Writer integrates with macOS artificial intelligence features. Its connection to “Writing Tools” is smooth and direct. If you prefer Markdown language, iA Writer supports it.
Inserting images into a blog post feels awkward but remains manageable. You might drag a file from the Desktop or copy and paste one from the Photos app on your Mac. The process is not difficult. Once you insert an image, you see a link. You must click the preview button in the menubar to view it in your article.
iA Writer is not ideal for publishing blog posts, yet it remains a strong writing app. I can rely on it when I grow tired of Ulysses and Mars Edit.
