For many years, I used an App called Alfred on macOS. Alfred is an efficiency App that allows you to create processes on your Mac and assign hotkeys to them. Alfred is powerful. I have never come close to using all of its features. Here is a view of where you set all that up.
You can create workflows and all kinds of things to make your daily computing needs more efficient and streamlined.
A few months ago Apple upgraded the Spotlight App in macOS Tahoe. It is new and improved with many more features. I tried using Spotlight exclusively for my workflow requirements for a couple of months, but it just does not compare to Alfred’s capabilities.
So, I am back to using Alfred for now. I will just have to see how Spotlight progresses in the next macOS release.
