Previously, I may have mentioned that my son-in-law has started a side business of making log furniture. This has evolved into using a chainsaw to carve Christmas trees, bears and other things. He scrounges free wood from various places in the area, stores it in his yard, and then cuts off pieces to carve with his chainsaw.
Gary takes these items to craft fairs. All the craft fairs are held before Christmas, of course. So, he is pretty busy this time of year. Here is a sampling of what he is doing lately.

I think it is pretty remarkable someone can do that kind of carving detail with a chainsaw. He thoroughly enjoys himself and sells quite a bit of stuff too.
