I have been doing the Dougman blog in the Everweb App for a few months. The blogging feature in Everweb is good. But, I really missed writing blog articles in the Ulysses writing App. Ulysses has tons of features. It is really fun to write with it. You can do focus writing, which blocks everything else out on your display. You can also check grammar and writing style. It is just a good writing App which also allows you to post articles to WordPress.
The Everweb blogging capability has many good features. But, I just missed all the things you can do with WordPress blogging. Besides all the plugins, it has a great deal of versatility. It took me a while to set up my blog on WordPress. After that was finished, I did the arduous task of moving all my articles from the old Everweb format to my new WordPress setup. That is completed, and I am moving forward with the blog on WordPress. I am using a simple theme which is adequate for this type of blog.
All in all, I am glad I made the move back to WordPress. Perhaps the features in Ulysses will encourage me to write articles more often.
