If you live in snow country, you look forward to spring. The snow and the cold get old. Sunshine and warmth are preferred. You want Spring to come quickly, but is that a good idea?

Here is what happens some years here in Colorado. You get into February and the weather is not too bad. You get some days that are 50-60°. Things are looking good. When you get to March and April, you think you are home free. Then, you get a blizzard with tons of snow, wind, and cold. The plants that have started to bloom are killed. Your yard has to start over. It is a total bummer.

So, if you live in our area, you are wary of good weather too soon. You want to really get to real Spring, not a false spring. This may sound weird, but that is how it works here.
