In spring, I have the front lawn aerated. It is good for the lawn. It is also a good time to over seed. The weather in Colorado is hard on lawns. Over seeding is necessary for Colorado lawns.
We have had a little rain which made the lawn start to grow. I thought this might make it difficult for the aerator machine to punch the holes in the lawn, so I mowed the growing parts down with my Ego hand mower. Here is what that looks like.
I usually mow the front lawn and whole backyard with my riding mower. It is much easier on my replacement knee. I use this small mower to get smaller areas of the yard that I cannot reach with the rider. It works on the Ego battery system and is super quiet. I am glad I got it on sale.
