I’ve been testing out a few mini Bluetooth keyboards lately, and while each one has its own cool features, they all share a common issue: the backlight is not very bright and turns off automatically. I’ve looked into this, and it seems like there’s no way to keep the backlight on continuously. It’s a bit frustrating, especially since a good backlight keyboard is a must-have for me.
I was rummaging through my closet and found another keyboard! I’ve got quite a few keyboards stored away, each with its quirks. The one I picked out is from Azio, and it’s a mechanical keyboard with Brown switches. It’s a full-size keyboard packed with features. It’s not Bluetooth, so you need to plug in the cord. But, the coolest thing is the backlight—it stays on when you turn it on! Plus, you can tweak the brightness, which is pretty neat.
For now, I am sticking with the Azio. The key switches feel great. It is a nice keyboard. It does take up a lot of space on the Desktop, but I don’t care. It works as advertised.

PS: I discovered after using the Azio keyboard for a while that it is a pain. It is so large, the numbers’ keypad gets in the way of my mouse. While working on all of this, I found some settings on the Keychron Bluetooth keyboard that allows the backlight to remain on all the time. The light is not as powerful as full sized, USB keyboards, but it is sufficient. Plus, there is room for my mouse to work properly.
