Summer heat temperatures are all relative. I lived in the Redding, California area for many years. It was not uncommon for summer temps to be over 100° for two weeks running. It is difficult to live in that environment, but you adapt.
Currently, I live in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area. Our summer temps range in the 80’s and 90’s. It is much more manageable than Redding. However, once you live here for a while, the 80’s and 90’s start to feel pretty hot. I guess your body adjusts to your environment.
I would not like to return to the Redding, California days. It is just too hot for the old guy. But, it still is warm where I am, so I will keep my fan going for now!
