I have used the Ulysses App for blogging for many years. There are other blogging Apps on macOS that are good, but Ulysses offers the best writing and blogging experience.
I’ve noticed that syncing with the cloud hasn’t been the smoothest experience in Ulysses. It lets you view an article on your iPad and Mac, and changes on one device should automatically update the other. I’m not sure what the Ulysses team did, but it seems like cloud syncing is back in action!
So, since cloud sync works in Ulysses, here is my typical workflow. I create an article in Ulysses on my Mac. I send it to the dougman blog. Then, a while later, I am reviewing the article on my iPad in the evening while watching TV. Occasionally, I spot an error that needs correcting. Now that sync is working, all I have to do is make the correction on the posted article on the iPad. When I send it to the blog, it says it is “updating” the original article. I do not usually create original articles on the iPad, but I could.
This is the way I have always used Ulysses. I am pleased that workflow is available to me again.
