I love coffee. If I don’t have my morning coffee, I am in a bad way for the rest of the day. I am not a coffee expert, but I try all kinds of coffee in all kinds of formats. Currently, I have a dilemma.

I cannot decide between doing coffee with Keurig K-cups or using a full drip coffee maker. I like them both, but they each have their advantages. Keurig cups are easy and fast. Just pop in a pod, place your cup under the spout and press the button. With a drip coffee maker, you can make more coffee at one time. Some people think brewed coffee tastes better. Here is what my wife and I use for coffee.

The cost of K-cups is a little more than what you pay for bagged coffee from the market or online. That is not a big consideration for me. The freshness, taste, and convenience is most important. There is some evidence that using a plastic K-cup leeches microplastics into your cup of coffee. Because of this, I use K-cups where the coffee is contained in mesh, not plastic. Usually, my K-cups come from San Francisco Bay Coffee.

At this point, I am leaning toward K-cups. I can get the SF coffee off Amazon for a good price. It is a little pricier than supermarket coffee, but has great flavor with no plastic container. Are you a coffee lover? If you are, what do you do for coffee?
