I have relied on security cameras at our home for years. I have tested several options but settled on Wyze Cameras. They are affordable and provide all the features I require. The video quality of Wyze Cams is 1080p, which is more than sufficient for my needs.
I have a single camera for our back deck. Although it functions as a security device, I mainly use it to check whether my cat Rosy wants to come inside. Its motion sensor for nighttime produces a very bright light.
I have a second pan/tilt camera in the basement, which lets us observe what Rosy is doing. You likely realize by now that we cherish our little kitty babes. The basement camera tracks movement and can be panned left or right or tilted.
The final camera is an outdoor unit on the front porch, aimed at the front door. Both this camera and the back deck camera send movement alerts to the Wyze App on my iPhone or iPad. If a delivery occurs, I am informed within a few seconds. When a notice arrives, I can view the activity taking place.
