One of the reasons I stopped using the Logitech MX3 Mechanical Mouse is because the LogiOptions software did not work. I could not assign different functions to some mouse buttons.
However, I found a solution to this problem in the LinearMouse software. This software has many settings for the MX3, some of which I do not need. Here is one of the windows of the LinearMouse App.
The App does many things, but assigning functionality to some of the MX3 buttons is the most useful to me. It all works great, and it has allowed me to place the MX3 mouse back in my daily workflow. It really is a great mouse if all of its functions are working properly.
