I have been using the Hey email system for several months. It is really cool with many features that help your email workflow. But, as cool as it is, I just cannot get around my years of using a standard email application to process my email needs.
One of the big drawbacks for me is that Hey does not use folders. I am used to using folders to categorize emails. I cannot get around this way of doing things, even though I tried. Furthermore, I store information in the folders and I can look things up at any time.
So, I am in the process of moving my Hey email workflow back to my original email address. This is a very complicated process. It is very time-consuming. I have email credentials in accounts all over the Internet.
Of course, this means I have to decide which email App I want to use to manage things. Currently, it is em Client which has many settings and is quite sophisticated. It will take a few weeks to get moved over, but I think it will be good longterm.
