After my knee surgery, one of the first woodworking projects I tackled was a garden obelisk! So, what exactly is a garden obelisk? Well, it’s a pyramid-shaped wooden structure for your garden. You can use it to grow flowers or other things up inside.

I crafted this piece using redwood and a touch of cedar, both of which are great for outdoor projects.
The plan is to plant a vine-like flower inside the obelisk and let it climb up the outer sides. I’m thinking Carol might plant sweet peas in the spring.
Since it’s so windy here, I drilled holes in the bottom of each leg and anchored it to the ground. Fingers crossed, this will keep the wind from causing any damage!
