I am in the process of moving my email from the Hey Mail system back to a traditional email workflow. Hey Mail is very cool and very powerful. Their spam filtering is the best out there. But, they don’t have one thing I have used for years and really like; that is a folder system.
I like storing certain categories of email into folders in whatever email App I am using. In this case, that App is em Client. The em Client App is very sophisticated. There are lots of settings and ways to make the App look and feel to your workflow.
The em Client App is not great at filtering out spam. They expect you to go to your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and use the ISP’s filtering capabilities. That is a bit cumbersome, but once you filter out an email address, you are done with it for the foreseeable future.
This email move will take the better part of a month. Around that time, I will be able to cancel the Hey Mail account and move forward in this more traditional email system.
