I have settled on the Ulysses writing App as my favorite blogging tool. Why are I writing this article in iA Writer? There is a good reason for that.
Many of my articles are text. They do not contain images. But, I do occasionally use images to illustrate things. After the most recent Ulysses update, I was not able to insert images into an article. Ulysses presents a box where you can get the image from Photos, a file or online. It no longer does this.
I have checked all the settings in the App. I have done research online, but no solutions appeared. I put in a support ticket to Ulysses about this. If I cannot insert images into articles, I will switch my writing to iA Writer. It handles images fine. iA Writer’s workflow is not as seamless as Ulysses, but it is a powerful writing App.
